Unfortunately it is too late to get into a forbearance or deferment.  You should immediately contact the guarantor to set up payments. The loan can be rehabilitated with 10 consecutive payments to the guarantor and you may re-enroll in school after 6 consecutive payments!

the loan i had was over 20 years ago, the school i attended is no longer in business and I don't know who the guarantor is/was or how much I owe on it. Where would I obtain this information?
